Eco Lodge Bandhavgarh, India
We are very pleased to tell you that WWF-NL has donated €15.000 to develop the Eco Lodge in Bandhavgarh, India. With this contribution and other private donations we have been able to buy 10 acres of land. We urgently need another € 8.000 to fence the plot and build the first accommodation. The letter of support we received from WWF mentions the unique innovative and educational character of this project.

The ANF team also visited Delhi, Khajurao, Bandhavgarh, Kanha, Agra, and Bhartpur. Every participant of this 15 days trip was happy and was appreciating the exceptional quality of guidance and service offered by of Vivek Sharma.

Our journey to Bharatpur reminds us about many bird species. It was really a fruitful trip to Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary where we could see many species which were available due to plenty of water in Bharatpur National Park. Besides the birds, we have also seen two pythons, sambar deer, spotted deer, golden jackal & Mongoose & many other mammals.

From Jabalpur, we arrived at KanhaTiger Reserve which was different from crowded cities. We could see our first wild Tiger with the Group.  The most exciting seen in KNP was to see the Leopard & its crossing over the road. It was very atmospheric quiet in KNP with the great success of seeing many mammalian and bird species in the tiger habitats. It was further interesting to see the Villages and the mode of living of Local People with the taste of MAHUA, the local Wine.

Our journey to Bandhavgarh National Park through fossil national park was quite interesting as we passed through beautiful landscape and colorful village life of remote India. Then we checked in the Tiger Territory and the ANF Country “THE BANDHAVGARH NATIONAL PARK" we can still remember first thrilling morning when we  encountered seeing the sixth Tigers especially when the Chakradhara Tigress was teaching her twelve months old  four cubs how to make a kill and one of male cub  holding baby of spotted deer where the cub and the baby Were not sure about either intentions.  Though it was the place we completed sighting of ten tigers. It was the great pleasure to see the Bandhavgarh   National Park with you all and visit GANPURI Village situated in the middle of Forest. It was further interesting to view few bird species which were new for the group. The trip to two village school was really the Memorable in the sense when the school children warmly welcome and sing the Hindi Songs for us. It was good to see the sky at night.  Hope you all would still have the impressions of Moon and star constellations which we have seen through the Telescope.

After arriving at Agra, it was quite impressive to enter TAJ MAHAL in dawn and see the sun rise and study the   details of Architecture in the TAJ MAHAL.  It was good to see the fine details of Red Fort and watching the Taj Mahan from the Platform of Red Fort.
